How does the modern sniper rifle work if all the electronics are disabled? (I assume a high-tech sniper weapon would have a chip in it to calculate trajectory and wind speed and stuff) although why would they have to go back to the Civil War? Lots of non-electronic stuff in WW1 and even WW2.
Modern in that it had a polymer stock and a scope. Mechanism-wise, it looks like it was m-14 or a derivative. Still, an order of magnitude better than a muzzleloader.
