Loss of central vision is what sent me to the doctor and then the hospital several years ago during my hypertensive crisis. If you catch it early enough the papilledema will reverse itself. If it is high bp you want to get it treated ASAP though because of the risk to your other organs. I got really lucky, they call high bp the silent killer for a reason. Don’t fuck around and get yourself checked out, delaying treatment can only lead to bad things.

That was my vision problem, blurriness in my central vision. I was a bit freaked out because my grandmother had macular degeneration and was basically blind the last couple of years of her life.

High blood pressure is not something to fool around with. Glad you got it treated before you had a heart attack or stroke.
