Here’s my take on the deal again. The entire world has condemned way the bad guy was tossed out, not that the end result might be fine and dandy. The US could hardly take a public stand against the entire Latin American states fear of military coups and expect to work with them in the future.
The world will make a lot of noise, the UN will issues resolutions and the rest, but the end result is a bad guy is gone.

The way he was removed is legal and actually prevented a leftist coup. You can’t look at this in terms of how the American system works. They specifically set up their constitution in such a way to give them an immediate and legal remedy for political coup attempts.
