But that response represents the imprecision with which many are attacking Zombie. I am not sure that Zombie would say that everyone who goes to an anti war protest is represented by what s/he photographs.

i’m sure she’d say the opposite. She’d doubtless say that ‘this doesn’t represent all antiwar protesters, just some. ‘

It’s called ‘plausible deniability’.

She also employs it when she chooses to highlight only photos of the Folsom St Fair, and not, say, normal Gay Pride parades.
