Where’s all the right-wingers on this board and how come they’re not busy defending their beloved party? Is it because it was Charles who called out the GOP for being the ridiculous theater of the absurd that it’s become? I find it really interesting that, were it me or one of the other left-leaning posters here that said something disparaging about the republican party as a whole, along the lines of what Charles wrote, we/I would’ve been quickly dog-piled on for “painting with a broad brush” or for “generalizing.”

But when Charles says it: crickets. The right-wing crowd around here simply vanishes, instead of sticking around to try and defend the indefensible.
