I think it’s going to take literally taking over the Democratic organizations in each red state to get anything done. Dems in many of these areas are simply there for the paycheck and going along with the status quo out of fear of losing their comfy place. The GOP did this, started small and worked up to take over their state level Republican party organizations. Dems have to do the same thing in a very organized and really surgical fashion. The lack of investment of money and time has been the downfall of the Democrats in red states, they have given up and you see a lot of this “Fuck the South” stuff that doesn’t help either.
