The Conscience? Shaun wanted Bernie to come in and upset the apple cart and take over, even though he had little support from within the DNC to start. Bernie’s actions since have not endeared himself to the DNC, and it’s only made “reform” or shifting the balance of the party even hard.

As for King’s claims that the DNC is dropping Obama’s rules regarding campaign funding, what exactly do you expect when Citizen’s United allows a free-for-all in funding opportunities for the GOP. If the DNC doesn’t follow suit, it ends up at a tremendous disadvantage in the long run - and you can’t run a political party without funding.

The only way to truly solve the funding problem is to overturn CU, and that’s not happening overnight, or even anytime soon.
