So the story making the rounds right now in wingnut circles is that ESPN has pulled an announcer from the UVa football game because his name happens to be Robert Lee.

This has apparently been confirmed by an ESPN statement. He was moved to cover a Pittsburgh game instead. The Robert Lee in question is asian, so no relation to Robert E. Lee. I am all for getting rid of confederate monuments and melting them to slag…but this seems a little ridiculous.
