Yeah. If there is any bright side to it, expelling US forces from Iraq would make any potential US military operations against Iran exceedingly more difficult (especially regarding ground forces).

The Iraqis know that they are no longer safe from collateral damages and basically can no longer function as a sovereign state with US forces operating with impunity on their territory.
