So how much garbage has been shoved down our throats in the name of urgency? People aren’t being vetted, crappy bills are being signed. It reminds me of 24, where Jack says “we’re running out of time!” and proceeds to attach electrical wires to someone’s nipples.
And now, as I said earlier, Obama is suddently a paragon of restraint and thoughtfulness. In the mean time, he’s signing an embarrassing bill in the name of urgency.
We don’t deserve this shoddy work. And shoddy is what it is.
