They’re not Nazis and they’re not the Klan.

This is not because they’re not racists, nationalists, or what have you. It’s because they remain, at the moment, a vicious, unpleasant, but non-lynching, non-invading body in the U.S. body politics.

I’m too lazy to dig out the thread now, but LVQ had a point beyond “NAZIS = BAD = TEA PARTY”. Got into a discussion about the economy, veterans, scapegoating, etc. I wouldn’t say I totally agreed with LVQ at the end of it, but he did present a fairly interesting narrative.
