The LNA soldiers fighting the alliance of jihadist groups in Benghazi are themselves Muslims. “Islamist’ is a term I use to refer to various groups within the Muslim world who seek to impose theocracy of varying degrees of severity.

Basically, if a Muslim is not a theocrat then I do not consider them an Islamist or refer to them as such.
