So I’m all ears for your suggestions for effective resistance.

I suggest going to local town halls if your rep has the guts to have them, meeting with veterans groups to help them out and do a little politicking, join local progressive groups to amplify your voice.

Back when I was younger than you are now we stopped troop trains from Camp Pendelton, went to protest movements, and sometimes got beat up.

Now, all of that totally failed to accomplish anything, of course. But I still think it was better than sending postcards directly to the shredders of politicians who won’t bother to even look at them.
