Hmmm…that Good Book people are always citing and giving obeisance to seems to differ here:

“When strangers live with you in your land, you must not oppress them. The strangers who live with you shall be to you like citizens, and you shall love them as yourself, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt.” Leviticus 19

Guess the loophole is the “you were strangers in the land of Egypt”; must only apply to Jews.
