The anti-science idiots are out in force. OMG - a winter storm disproves global warming!

Nope. It doesn’t. In fact, global warming and higher temperatures means more extreme storms, and higher storm totals.

Warmer air means more moisture is in the atmosphere, so when it hits cold air, there’s more precipitation that can result. Warmer ocean temps also feed the energy into these storms.

That’s the same thing with lake effect snows - you want temps to get cold so the lakes freeze over to shut off the energy/precip source.

Global warming ends up making for more severe weather.

It figures the GOP and Fox News nuts want to ignore all that.
