77 Percent of Americans Disapprove of Wikileaks Cable Releases

My biggest issue with WikiLeaks, aside from Assange being an obvious tool and the blatant malice behind the cable dumps is the complete lack of context or coherence to any of it. It’s always felt like just throwing everything you can at the wall and hoping that something will stick and humiliate people. That’s unacceptable.

I’m all for whistleblowing if the situation calls for it, like with Abu Ghraib. I’d also like to see greater transparency and less bureaucracy. However, I can’t abide the irresponsible and indiscriminate way that WikiLeaks has unfolded.
