For me, the reprehensible thing about this show and the kid’s beauty contest show it came from is that it is exploiting children. The Jersey Shore crew? All over 21, etc.

And yet, Toddlers and Tiaras did not, to my eye, get nearly the contemptuous response this show is getting, and that is all about the pageants. I see a class component here, and it bugs me.
