Fun fact about that movie but there’s a character named Dean Stanton in it played by Barry Pepper, who even funner fact played my distant cousin Mike Strank in Flags of our Fathers.

Something many don’t realize about The Green Mile book release - look it up. Stephen King did the story via “pocket book” a depression Era way of publishing. Once a month several chapters were released in a pocket book. There was a rite Aid near my office that had them on the Tuesday of release. Me and all the other people across the country ran to get the next book.

The Green Mile lasted for like 5 months. It was glorious.
