Such a shame that your statement is true, and not even directly concerning Gronk, but in many subjects.

I recently watched the PBS Frontline documentary: “Death By Fire” about the case of Cameron Todd Willingham. Original fire investigators ruled his house fire arson, and Willingham was convicted and executed for the murder of his three kids. Some forensic fire experts looked at the evidence, and scientifically struck down all indicators from the original investigation. These individuals had advanced degrees and training, and face it are just smarter than the original investigators.

The original investigators, after being shown the work by the experts, shook it off, indicating that expert knowledge of a subject doesn’t matter, if it goes against what they believe. Quote from one of the investigators:

“I don’t care how many degrees you may have; how many books you have written…”

Anti-intellectualism at its finest.
