I visited the site of Dachau. Built 1933 the year the Nazis seized power. The Nazis and the lead up to WWI inform my general distaste for nationalism. I’m hoping a Biden presidency results in a revitalized liberal democracy.

When my wife and I were in Gdańsk, Poland, my wife planned part of our trip to go to Stutthof Concentration Camp (a “labour” camp, not an extermination camp) as part of my family wound up there. I could not bring myself to go; we cancelled.
