As hospitals hit max capacity, new cases can’t go there so people die at a home without medical care or in triage tents outside the hospital, which spikes deaths. The dead bodies then have to be dealt with by the living who are now at greater risk of exposure. Inevitably some of them will get sick, but the hospitals are at max capacity…

Think like what happened in Italy except that things just kept getting worse.
