As I posted in the dead thread, would Chas approve of China’s crackdown on protesters who were silly enough to think that signing up for permits to demonstrate during the Beijing Olympics wouldn’t end badly for them given that Chas approvingly wrote about the Tienanmen Square massacre.

And what’s incredible is that Freeman has the chutzpah to say that his comments were taken out of context. Goldfarb nails him on his defense of his Tianenman Square statements. Sure in one paragraph he is stating the way the Chinese government viewed things. But in the very next paragraph he says that he agreed with that approach. Nothing was taken out of context. BTW, follow Charles’ link to the Jake Tapper column. Tapper’s summation is simple but brilliant.
