Yeah, I understand that. Theoretically there is no direct harm from words, no matter how hateful. In reality, there is damage-psychologically to someone who is told they’re no good, or in encouraging someone to physically harm the object of their derision. Yes, it’s all human emotion that causes the problem, but we are, in fact, human so we’re going to have those emotions.
Any mom (or dad) can tell stories of one kid goading another into hitting them and then yelling “Mom! He hit me!”

We are feeling creatures that think,

not the other way around, as many people seem to view it.

Emotions seem to take priority —marketing people, at least, have learned that.
