The natural order of things is moral or immoral depending on the current set of values society has adopted.

Well, part of the natural order of things is that humans regulate their societies. What I mean by that is that there’s always some kind of societal regulation going on, it’s not something that happens “on top of” a theoretical “natural” human setting in which there’s no societal regulation.

So, for me, saying “that’s just the natural order of things” is a bit of a cop-out (and is usually deployed to justify some kind of behavior that seems hard to justify).
