So what should we call them, Newt? Stateless Arabs? What is the point of not calling them Palestinians.

I don’t call them Palestinians either, because I view it as legitimizing their claim to Israel. But that doesn’t mean it’s necessarily an improper title - they live in the land of Palestine. They self-identify as Palestinians. It’s as good a title as any for someone who would be dealing diplomatically with them.
