Mmm… pesto. Good idea. Time to think about converting the sunny corner of the apartment into a small herb garden again. Have very tall south and west facing windows so I get lots of sun there. (And it’s always sunny in Philadelphia…)

I think the New Year’s resolution is going to be a pantry cleaning and general re-arrangement of the kitchen. From there I’ll see how well I can find and incorporate more fresh produce and full-scale home-cooking into my diet. Cooking for one is sometimes a real pain since most recipes are scaled for 4+ people.

And it’s hard to host co-workers and friends for dinner since most of them do not live nearby. Co-workers commute much further than I do, and I travel out to the suburbs for a lot of my social interactions.
