Okay, PSA: check your Twitter follows. I deliberately did not follow @POTUS and just checked after seeing a comment from someone that they found themselves following the account after unfollowing it earlier today and - surprise! - was also following it.

Now fixed.

I think Twitter must have restored the follows after switching the account to the Trump Thing. I didn’t unfollow, but checked earlier and I wasn’t following, even though I had been following when the real president had it. Just checked again and I’m suddenly following again. Fixed that now.

I suspect Trump is going to keep using @realDonaldTrump most of the time, because his ego is so fucking out of control he’ll see the @POTUS account as a downgrade.
