Awesome stuff but…

The original Bullitt Mustang was not a Shelby GT500 or GT350. It was a ‘68 Ford GT390. The bad guys were in a ‘68 Dodge Charger 440 R/T. The Mustang had to be modified a fair amount to stay with the Charger.

The engine and transmission sounds were dubbed from a full race Ford GT-40 at speed.
