Yeah, I guess this is part of what makes me not a conservative. I mean, OK, I’d be scared of leaving my apartment in a place like Venezuela or Pakistan, but come on. Someone afraid of leaving their house in a place like Vienna, just because the language is different? That sounds like an adventure to me, just like it does to you.

My favorite part of traveling has always been trying to find places where locals go. I mean I don’t mind playing tourist because I obviously want to see the famous sites but at the same time, I love the idea of just having a beer with the locals.
