This NYC Air Force 1 stunt is symbolic of the whole Obama presidency. Like his grotesque Berlin rally, the Denver Convention speech with the Greek columns, his habit of mentioning himself in every speech, whatever the situation no matter how relevant. In Obama’s mind, the whole country, & even the entire world, is nothing more than a magnificent backdrop for me. ME!

Five million bucks for that completely unnecessary Greek temple extravaganza. Utterly and completely unnecessary — the Democratic party had already rented a perfectly good hall for the convention.

And meanwhile the MSM was writing front-page articles about how wasteful it was for the GOP to spend a hundred thousand on the clothes that Sarah Palin wore while campaigning, even though (1) she had to wear clothes while campaigning (yes she did, get your mind out of the gutter), and (2) I believe the clothes were donated to charity when she was done with them.
