Okay Dana, he did not say that the forced ultrasound was cool. Conceded. What he did, though, was casually conflate ultrasound pics/procedures from people that consented to said ultrasound, and those pictures that would presumably come from people that are being forced to have an ultrasound. It’s equally disgusting and misleading. He’s suggesting that the person who doesn’t want the ultrasound and doesn’t want to carry to term will nevertheless think it’s a “cool thing” that they have the picture.

I won’t even concede that point. You don’t get to talk about how it’s a great idea to defund Planned Parenthood and have forced ultrasound laws, and then segue right into a story about how “cool” ultrasounds are without it being pointed out that you made a very explicit connection between your forced ultrasounds and how wonderfully cool you think ultrasounds are.

He did say that. No concessions from me.
