Interesting thread.

If this is correct, we have lots of stuff coming in to the country. But it cannot get into or out of Long Beach port due to the complete foul up regarding containers.

1. The trucking trailers (container chassis) needed to haul full containers are tied up holding empty containers.

2. But the empty containers cannot be put on container ships. Because the container ships need to offload their filled containers. And there is no further space to store filled, or empty containers in the port.

3. But there aren’t any trucking trailers available to haul off the filled containers, because (see #1)

And, as part of tfg’s failed trade war, we have imposed a massive tariff on importing new trucking container chassis.
