Semi-rant of the day:

About 10 months ago the wife-woman decided that she wanted a 42” plasma flat screen running through a Dolby surround sound system in the bedroom. To better appreciate the poetry that is a Palomalo bone-crunching hit on an unsuspecting reciever. It don’t count unless she can hear the ‘snap’.

Anywho. Right out of the box the built-in DVD wouldn’t open the tray. Sound system worked, DVD didn’t. No biggee. I boxed it back up and shipped it back to RCA-Thompson. In a short five weeks they cheerfully replaced it and all was well.

Till this afternoon, when the DVD tray stopped opening.
