There are fresh ideas. Tort reform. Allowing cross state insurances.
The problems are many. No one is willing to tackle them all. They could be attached a little at a time. HOWEVER, the Democrats have the concept of “health insurance for all” bit between their teeth.
(Never mind that insurance isn’t the issue, it’s healh care that is the issue…)

I still would like to see FIRST, before we get thousands of pages of legislation to “fix the system”, a list of WHAT exactly is not working, reasons why, and possible solutions (plural, notice - potential solutions) for each thing.

I don’t know how the American people can be expected to judge any proposed solution, until we know exactly what the problems are, what’s causing them, and workable alternatives.

In other words, it seems to me we’ve begun this debate in the MIDDLE, instead of at the beginning.
