Fun Nixon fact but he holds the record for most times on a ballot as president or VP from a major party.
1952, 1956, 1960, 1968, and 1972. Pretty incredible.

I’m still fascinated by the fact that most folks who listened to him debate Kennedy on the radio thought he won handily.
