I’m so tired of this. OK, I shouldn’t have done the sarcasm thing, and I apologize for that.

But the fact is, whatever the rights or wrongs of the insanely complicated situation in the Middle East, there are a boatload of people who just want to live their lives, and then a rocket lands on a car and their kid has to go to hospital, and they have to call their wife to tell them that.

And they don’t deserve to then be slammed for holding the phone and the baby in the same hand when they get to the hospital.

A little human sympathy is in order.
