beck does raise some legitimate issues during his insane rant. the cuba thing.

Cuba. The main bone of contention has been the USSR placing missiles on the island which led to the Cuban Missile crisis a long time ago. Their human right record is rather poor.

However, China was responsible, indirectly for the deaths of 1000s of American soldiers during the Vietnam war. Their human rights record still remains one of the worst in the world. They systematically oppress Tibet. China was an active and far more dangerous enemy of the United States during the Cold war. The constantly harass US Navy air and sea traffic when given a chance. Yet now China has “most favored nation” status from the United States.

Given our relationship with China I fail to see what all the fuss is about Cuba.
