But it didn’t end with those tragic deaths (those real people, with real families, by the way, who have to live with that memory seared far deeper than it can be for you or me). After that we went to War in Afghanistan, and then Iraq fighting terror. Our Military went to protect your freedom, and to spread democracy. Soldiers, Marines, Airmen lost their lives fighting for that - and forever will their families have to live with a memory. I lost friends, people I loved in this conflict. There is a real chance I’ll get the money that I’ve lost back - but I’ll never get my friends back. Get some perspective here.

Fair enough. However, I feel that what has happened in the past few months with far outweigh all of that and more, negatively affecting far more people, perhaps for generations, perhaps even permanently jeopardizing our sovereignty and way of life than the current wars and the fallout from 9-11. That’s all I am saying.
