Exactly. I did take the time to read the way the article simply took the position of the Palestinians on the question of settlements, to the extent of calling said settlement “colonization”. It struck me as a one-sided piece and gave the Palestinians a good bit more credit than I think proper.

So based on that, I maintain my view that Mitt Romney has a better understanding of the situation in Israel/West Bank-Gaza than does David Wearing.

I would still argue that its author was likely a hell of a lot better informed than Mitt given his career, notwithstanding his obvious agenda and opinions.
