Reinforcing my belief that there is no such thing as a “intelligent” defense of paleo-conservatism, Reihan Salam does the triple back moonsault:

First doing a bit of MBF with Scott Brown and Ted Cruz.
Second by ignoring that expatriation is an old issue long kicked around.
Thirdly and most worrisomely, by trying (as do all paleo-conservatives) to make a culture-test the basis of what is being an “American”, under the guise of being concerned about how people are treated.
