I can’t take a goddam thing GOHMERT! says seriously. Even when I should.

Sure, he may want another shutdown, and so would a good chunk of the GOP. But they have less and less leverage to actually do it. And it hinges on Mitch wanting to get himself kicked in the nuts non-stop for no benefit whatsoever.

Not saying it’s not going to happen again, but they’d have to really thread the needle.
