And he can’t disclaim at all because he’d have no audience
Just like Limbaugh. No one would listen if he had to remind them it’s all just a show

It was never satire. TDS with Jon Stewart always was. OTOH both Jones and Limbaugh sold themselves as telling the truth. They only fell back on the satire line when they got called out.
