Exercising one’s right to assemble is an end to itself.

I have to disagree. It’s great to exercise our rights, but what’s the end goal? How is the end goal accomplished by protesting? Will we be holding republicans who are big spenders accountable? Working to get fiscal conservatives on the ballots across the nation?
