Short form: A young woman was hired by KBR/Haliburton. She was housed with 400 men in Iraq and begin complaining of harassment form the first day. Within four days, she was drugged and gang raped. Haliburton “lost” the rape kit and locked her into a cargo crate under armed guard and prevented her from speaking to anyone. She managed to convince her gaurd to give her a cell phone. She called her dad, who called a senator and the senator got her home.

Due to a fine print arbitration agreement in her contract, Haliburton fought her legitimate right to sue. This was recently over-turned BTW.

Senator Franken issued an amendment, that would prevent arbitration clauses in future government contractor contracts in the case of gang rape and false imprisonment etc.
