This is probably the biggest fallacy regarding Obama. His policies on Iraq, Afghanistan, bailouts, gay rights, HCR public option, etc. are clearly not far left.

But the right has their talking points, and will continue to spew them regardless of facts. When he nominates the centrist Elena Kagan to the SC in a few days, her record will be ignored completely in favor of spin that she’s the second coming of Emma Goldman.

Now, Emma Goldman on the Supreme Court would have been fun.
