What gets me about the “We could have won Vietnam if it weren’t for those damn anti-war commies” is that it’s the same bullshit that Germany used after WWI— they could have won if it weren’t for those backstabbing Jews and commies. And a lot of the anti-war press and civil rights movement that protested the draft had strong Jewish support.

I actually had a born-again tell me with a straight face that the reason Nixon was forced out of office was not Watergate.

It was those damn war protestors.
