I like PZ, but the commenters there… ugh.

It’s fucking brutal. There was a guy who co-blogging with Myers by the name of Chris Clarke, who wound up leaving because he couldn’t handle the vitriol there. And he pretty much held the same views as Myers.

When I started to give up religion, the site was instrumental in helping me realize being an atheist is not a crime against humanity. But over the years, the Horde has definitely gotten more vicious.

I hate implying they have a purity test, but it really feels at times only the “right” kind of nonbeliever need apply over there.
