In what has to be the ultimate irony, even though I was a scrawny geek growing up, I actually loved playing dodgeball. Except for the one time where I was nailed in the groin by the school’s baseball pitcher. That didn’t go over so well.

The one to look out for when I was in school was the vicious* and not very physically imposing looking girl that was a very good softball pitcher.

* - Especially towards the “geeks”. She had an anti-intellectual streak that showed quite often.
