So, Bloomberg implements policing policies where young black men are systematically discriminated against as they are stopped and frisked, the vast majority of times with no results to justify the harassment.

And then he wants to ban sodas over 16 oz. and the public becomes outraged about government overreach.

I seriously have a hard time figuring out why people are actually upset about this ban. The concerns about government over-reach seem overwrought. Will this have the effect of reducing soda consumption (which really is a problem that contributes to the obesity epidemic)? Is anyone going to be harmed in any way by this legislation?
