What if McConnell is removed? 4 GOP friends + all Democratic Senators could put Romney in charge. He’s got to be better than McConnell.

Not really: the position of Senate Majority Leader (which to the GOP these days seems to be something like an absolute dictator) is elected by the caucus of Senators from the majority Party: and things still don’t seem to be so bad that the Senate Republicans are likely to change Leaders (and it would take 27, not 5) at this point. I’m not sure why old Sen. McTurtle is able to rule his caucus like some sort of autocratic Czar, but he does….

And speaking of McConnell and the Senate: I wonder what is happening with the virus aid bill passed by the House…..
